Two of the worlds largest hi-tech poker gaming developers have
joined together to enhance both their products and services.
Shuffle Master Inc., which has stock on NASDAQ, and Ameranth
Wireless Inc. have formed an alliance to develop software that
will go hand in hand with Shuffle Master's Deck Mate.
Ameranth will be creating a
software interface that will operate between the Deck Mate and
poker room operators on the user end. Ameranth's
specialty is in compiling and reporting information from the
poker tables to casino room monitors and personnel. With
Ameranth's marriage with the Deck Mate, which is a highly
advanced card shuffler, poker rooms will have a complete
solutions system that will help end user's keep track of all
table and card deck results.
Spokespersons for both companies expressed
delight in the union, and were very confident this specific combination of
hardware and software would prove quite successful for casino operators and set
a new standard for poker table solutions.
